Educate our students on the importance of the global/international nature of engineering practice and business activities.

 

Actions


• Increase faculty and student participation in international programs by

—continuing participation in the London Program and seeking additional opportunities for international experiences for our undergraduates
—identifying international programs where a strategic exchange of personnel for research or instruction leads to increased interaction between institutions
—generating additional resources to support international activities
—recognizing and encouraging current international collaborations

  • • Increase the participation of international visitors in School programs by

  • —providing an infrastructure that facilitates visits
    —encouraging international visitors to serve as guest lecturers, seminar speakers, and members of our students' research committees

  • • Promote and take part in activities of the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs

Goals

    • • Three international academic institutions selected to act as partners and participating in appropriate exchange programs

      • • Funding from a major donor to cover expenses associated with an international program
