In addition to the study abroad opportunities offered by the Institute, The School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering offers unique programs of its own.

metzGeorgia Tech Lorraine is a permanent branch campus of Georgia Tech located in Metz, France. For some years now, GT Lorraine has run a summer session for Georgia Tech (and other) undergraduates. GT Lorraine runs a ten-week summer program, using approximately the same schedule and format of the Atlanta campus. Students may take humanities, social science, technical and free electives. London Bridge  The School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering has participated in a summer program at the Imperial College of London for more than thirty years. Participants are limited to a total of 25 students who have completed pre-requisites for the Unit Operations Laboratory course. In addition to receiving six credit hours for ChBE 4200/4210 UCL(Unit Ops./Bio. U. Ops. Lab) and ChBE 4803 (Technical Elective), this four-week program includes opportunities for students to participate in cultural events and site-seeing. Get a copy of the 2009 London Program flyer.

For these programs, tuition for out-of-state students is only slightly more than for in-state students because they are held outside the state of Georgia.
